The 13th NanoLSI Colloquium was held on July 5, 2022

The 13th NanoLSI Colloquium was held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in a hybrid format (on-site participation and Zoom meeting).

Prof. Noriyuki Kodera of Nanometrology chaired the whole session, and Prof. Masanobu Oshima of Life Science and Prof. Carsten Beta of Computational Science introduced their latest research. During the Q&A session, many questions were asked, and although Prof. Beta gave a speech online, there was a lively exchange of ideas through the screen.

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, researchers have had fewer opportunities to interact with each other in person, so after the Colloquium, a social gathering was held. At the gathering, participants enjoyed tea and snacks while chatting and discussing their research, making it a very productive event.
