The 19th NanoLSI Open Seminar “Formation mechanism of lipid rafts”
On May 18, NanoLSI held the Open Seminar “Formation mechanism of lipid rafts” at Natural Science and Technology Main Hall, Kanazawa University.
During the seminar, Dr. Shunsuke Shimobayashi from Department of Mathematical science and Advanced Technology, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, introduced how nano meter scale lipid rafts formed on living cell membrane based on a model membrane experiment and thermodynamic theory. His lecture provoked active discussion.
