Nature Communications Article Selected for Editors’ Highlights
A research paper by Takeshi Fukuma, Professor, and Ayhan Yurtsever, Assistant Professor, at the WPI Nano Life Science Institute (WPI-NanoLSI), Kanazawa University, “Peptides display multilayered hydration shell substructures dictated by sequence-specific surface chemistry” published in Nature Communications, has been selected for the journal’s Editor’s Highlights collection in the category “Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.”

For the first time, the researchers directly visualized sequence-dependent hydration structures surrounding protein surfaces.
