On October 14, Kanazawa University 2018 Open Lecture Series, “Pioneering Unexplored Nanoscale Realms: Nano Life Science Institute, Kanazawa University” was held at Kanazawa University Satellite Plaza

.

Prof. Tomoki Ogoshi from WPI-NanoLSI, gave a lecture titled “Manipulating Life and Nano Domains with Supramolecular Chemistry”.  He introduced a story about developing novel molecules called “Pillararenes”,  which are expected to have many potential applications, as well as ongoing transdisciplinary research projects at WPI-NanoLSI. Around 40 participants listened attentively to the lecture, which was followed by a lively Q&A session.

The final lecture is scheduled on October 21, titled “Visualizing Cancer Cells by Microscopy”.
