The completion ceremony for the new building of the Nano Life Science Institute was held on December 14

On December 14, 2020, a ceremony was held to commemorate the completion of the new building of the Nano Life Science Institute, Kanazawa University, which was attended by approximately 60 people, including Koetsu Yamazaki, President of Kanazawa University, Takeshi Fukuma, Director of the institute and guests.

In the new research building, researchers in Nanometrology, Life Science, Supramolecular Chemistry and Computational Science gather in large common laboratories and experimental rooms without partitions between laboratories, seeking to establish a fundamental understanding of all the life phenomena such as the emergence of life, illness and aging at the nano-level.

At the ceremony, a congratulatory message from Mr. Hagiuda, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology was presented, and Director renewed his determination to promote further research.
