The 10th World Premier International Research Center Initiative Program (WPI) Science Symposium was held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Ishikawa Ongakudo, and the event was broadcasted online.
The symposium is held annually by the WPI centers on a rotating basis to introduce the achievements of the WPI research centers. Under the cooperation of the Ishikawa Prefectural Board of Education, this symposium was held simultaneously with the 2021 Ishikawa Super Science High School Student Research Presentation.
The symposium was attended by high school students from Ishikawa Prefecture, mainly those from designated Ishikawa Super Science High School, and online by the general public, mainly high school students from all over Japan, for a total of about 500 people.
