The 28th NanoLSI Open Seminar “Cationic Helicenes – Chemical Platforms to Ubiquitous Applications”

On July 23, NanoLSI held the Open Seminar with CHOZEN Project of Kanazawa University and approximately 60 researchers and students participated.

During the seminar, Dr. Jerome Lacour from Universite de Geneve, Switzerland, presented the synthesis and chiroptical and fluorescence properties of a series of stimuli responsive molecules, such as helicenes and crown ether derivatives, which can undergo a unique structural transition in response to the external environment. His lecture provoked active discussion.
