On February 26th, 2025, the awards ceremony for the Leo Esaki Prize, the Tsukuba Prize, and the Tsukuba Encouragement Prize was held at the Tsukuba International Congress Center, and Toshio Ando, a specially appointed professor at Nano Life Science Institute (also Emeritus Professor, Distinguished Professor of Kanazawa University), attended and gave a commemorative lecture.
