State Minister of MEXT Michiko Ueno visits WPI-NanoLSI
On January 8, Michiko Ueno, Japan’s State Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), visited the Nano Life Science Institute of Kanazawa University.
Following an introduction to WPI-NanoLSI by Director Takeshi Fukuma, the group moved to his lab to see cutting-edge atomic force microscope (AFM) facilities.
State Minister Ueno showed interest in how advanced research at NanoLSI has a positive effect on education at Kanazawa University.
