NanoLSI Interdisciplinary Fusion Seminar “Collective migration of epithelial cells within their sheet”
On January 25, the NanoLSI Interdisciplinary Fusion Seminar “Collective migration of epithelial cells within their sheet” took place in Kanazawa University and about 20 researchers participated.
During the seminar, Prof. Katsuhiko Sato, from the Research Center of Mathematics for Social Creativity (MSC), Research Institute for Electronic Science (RIES), Hokkaido University, presented his works on the mechanisms of the collective migration of epithelial cells. His lecture provoked active discussion, and various hypotheses were proposed by the audience.
