19th Luncheon Webinar was held online on June 24, 2021

The 19th Luncheon Webinar was held online on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
The presenter this time was Dr. Xi Yang, Life Science, who came to Japan in 2013 and has been studying and researching at Tsukuba University and other institutions. Dr. Takeshi Yoshida supported Dr. Xi as the chairperson of the session.

Dr. Xi is from Nujiang (Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture) in China’s Yunnan Province, which is home to many ethnic minorities including the Lisu.
Even though living in the same prefecture, they have different languages and cultures.

She also talked about the magnificent canyon called the Grand Canyon, which was eroded by the river flowing through the mountainous region.
