The 41st Luncheon Meeting was held on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
The presenter this time was Asst. Prof. Xiaoxiao Cheng (Supramolecular Chemistry) and Assoc. Prof. Tatsuya Nishimura supported him as a chairperson.

Dr. Cheng started his new position at NanoLSI in August 2023. Just before that, he spent his time in ” Paradise on Earth,” Suzhou, China. He shared many memories with us, including Soochow University, where he earned his PhD, the tourist attractions in Suzhou, and the Japanese town where he first ate sushi. By the way, Suzhou and Kanazawa are sister cities. I would like to visit there someday!
After introducing himself and Suzhou, Dr. Cheng talked in detail about his research activities. During the Q&A session, many NanoLSI members raised their hands to ask questions and a lively discussion ensued.
