The 42nd NanoLSI Open Seminar was held
On March 6th, NanoLSI held an Open Seminar in the NanoLSI Building with 15 researchers participated.
In Talk 1, Prof. Carsten Beta (Chair of Biophysics, Department of Physics, Potsdam university, Germany) presented an outline of experimental research in his group. The focus was on cellular motility mechanisms and possible related biotechnological applications.
In Talk 2, Dr. Krishna Kanti Dey (Physics Division, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar) reported and discussed the results of his experiments, previously at the Penn State University in US, that reveal diffusion enhancement and chemotaxis-like effects for catalytically active enzymes.
